Dear Valued Tiburon Ferry Passengers,

I am sorry to report that repairs to the barge were more extensive than we had anticipated.  Ferry service will not resume until Saturday, March 5th.  For the convenience of our passengers we are providing buses that will operate on the current weekday commute schedules, with service from Tiburon (a.m.) and the Ferry Building (p.m.).  “Reverse commute” bus departures (Ferry Building/ Tiburon a.m., Tiburon/Ferry Building p.m.) will be 10 to 15 minutes later than usual.  The bus fare is $5 dollars each way, CASH ONLY.  We regret that we will not be able to accept credit or debit cards.  We will, however, accept commute ferry tickets.  Golden Gate will continue to honor your commute ticket on the Sausalito and Larkspur ferries during this time.

We apologize for this inconvenience.  Ferry service is an important community asset, for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.  We are pleased to invest in the long-term viability of ferry service in the Bay Area, and thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Horgan
